Here is my unprofessional, kind-of-scientific, barely passing for resarch on diffusion bonding Titanium to Steel in the blacksmith workshop for the purpose of cladding blades. The two metals do not want to bond due to the formation of brittle interlayers. My research has explored the use of different interlayers and bonding techniques.
